Damian's 7-9 Month Update!

These last two months have flown by and Damian will be 10 months old (YES, 10! Who would have thought?) on the 19th of November.  Its insane how old he is and how much he's grown.  I'm going to give you guys a rundown of his milestones and just fun things we've done from September until now.

September (7-8 months)

Learned how to stand completely on his own!  For a few seconds at least.
Started sippy cup training (much failure)
Started chewing foods.
Loves pumpkin apple baby food.
Loves Spongebob theme song and a commercial for the Nabi tablet.

 

October (8-9 months)

First wagon ride (yes, with real mules!)
First bonfire.
First Bonneville Ride (a special thing here in Kentucky)
Standing unassisted a LOT better, still falling and no steps.
Doctors appointment! 9 month checkup: 20lbs, 28in., in the 50th percentile for both!
First cold (broke mommies heart)
First Halloween!  Most exciting holiday.
Ate his very first sucker.
First trick or treating experience.  Kept his costume on wonderfully.
First wedding! (Mommy and daddy's wedding!)

November (9-10 months) 

More sippy cup training.
Tried kiwi-strawberry juice and loves it!
Loves watching daddy play Call of Duty: Ghosts.
Can stand on his own for over a minute, has tried to take steps at least twice.
Moving into his own bedroom!
Loves toys more than ever.
Crawling on his knees now.
Climbing on everything, and up everything.
Taking more naps during the day (growth spurt?)

So far, thats all I have to update on with Damian.  I'll update more soon!
